Connect to a visible network
- Select the Wi-Fi icon in the taskbar (bottom-right corner).
- A panel opens showing available networks. Select the one you want to join.
- If prompted, enter the Wi-Fi password and select Connect.
- Tick Connect automatically so the device reconnects without prompting next time.
Connect to a hidden network
- Select Start → Settings → Network & internet → Wi-Fi → Manage known networks.
- Select Add a network.
- Enter the Network name (SSID), Security type (usually WPA2-Personal), and Password.
- Tick Connect automatically, then select Save.
Network does not appear
- Make sure Wi-Fi is turned on: Settings → Network & internet → Wi-Fi (toggle On).
- Move closer to the access point.
- Restart the device — a reboot resolves most Wi-Fi driver issues.
- If the problem persists call the help desk: (972) 961-7711 Option 2.
Forget a network
Settings → Network & internet → Wi-Fi → Manage known networks → select the network → Forget.
