- When your printer appears in the list, select Add device.
Add by IP address (if the printer is not found)
- Select Start → Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Printers & scanners.
- Select Add device → wait a few seconds → Add manually.
- Choose Add a printer using an IP address or hostname and select Next.
- Set Device type to TCP/IP Device, enter the printer IP (ask IT if you do not know it), and select Next.
- Windows detects the driver automatically. If not, select Have Disk and browse to the driver folder.
- Give the printer a friendly name and select Finish.
Set as default printer
Settings → Printers & scanners → select the printer → Set as default.
Test print
Settings → Printers & scanners → select the printer → Print a test page.
Printer still not working?
Check that:
- Your PC and the printer are on the same network segment.
- The printer shows Ready (not Offline) on its own display.
- You can ping the printer IP from Command Prompt:
ping 192.168.X.X.
